Live casino means real dealers with real cards, wheels and dice, streamed from a studio while you bet on the casino’s website. Evolution, the best-known live studio, is listed by nine of the ten casinos we compare.
Real equipment doesn’t remove the house edge. It runs from about 0.5% on blackjack played well to 14.36% on a baccarat tie bet, and bonus terms often count live bets only in part, or not at all. 21+ only.
How live casino works
A live casino game has three parts: the studio, the casino and your wallet.
- The studio runs the tables and dealers, and streams each round to your screen.
- The casino rents those tables and holds your money. A studio’s licence doesn’t cover the casino, so whether you get paid depends on the casino alone.
- Your wallet may need a transfer. At me88, GOD55 and Maxim88, you move money from your main wallet into a game wallet and claim welcome bonuses during that transfer.
We1Win works the other way round. Claim the bonus first, because a deposit already moved into a game wallet can’t get it.

House edge on popular live bets
The house edge is the average share of each bet the casino keeps over the long run. On RM100 of banker bets you’d lose about RM1.06 on average; on RM100 of tie bets, about RM14.36.

These figures assume standard rules: 8-deck baccarat and dragon tiger, single-zero roulette and blackjack paying 3:2. Tables with other payouts have other edges, so check the rules screen. Side bets almost always cost more than the main bets.

Live casino and bonus turnover
Live bets are where bonus terms bite hardest. Across the casinos we compare (checked 2 Nov 2026):
- Excluded studios. GOD55’s live bonus excludes Allbet, Motivation, Evolution and Playtech. 96M’s excludes Sexy Baccarat, Game Play and AllBet, BK8’s excludes Sexy Casino and Allbet, and Maxim88’s excludes Allbet, PlayAce, AE Sexy, Dream Gaming and Big Gaming.
- Part-counting. GOD55 counts only 25% of roulette bets. UWIN33 and 12Play don’t count roulette bets covering 24 or more numbers.
- Excluded games. 12Play doesn’t count blackjack, poker or 3 Pictures towards turnover, and BK8, Maxim88, UWIN33 and 12Play don’t count RNG (non-live) table games.
- Both sides. Betting banker and player on the same hand, or big and small, doesn’t count at BK8, Maxim88, 96M, me88, GOD55, UWIN33 and 12Play.
- Ties. Bets returned on a tie don’t count at BK8, Maxim88, 96M, GOD55, UWIN33 and 12Play.

For example, 96M’s live bonus on a RM100 deposit needs (RM100 + RM50) x 25 = RM3,750 in bets. At 1.06%, that costs about RM40 on average, a little under the RM50 bonus.
Two catches apply. Banker bets returned on a tie usually don’t count, so expect to bet about 10% more than the target. And real sessions swing well above and below the average.

Tips for playing live casino
- Stick to low-edge bets: banker in baccarat, basic strategy in blackjack, even-money bets on single-zero roulette.
- Skip side bets. Pairs, ties and bonus side bets carry much higher edges.
- Check the table first. Its help or info screen shows the bet limits and payouts.
- Read the bonus exclusions before you pick a table.
- Set a budget and a time limit, and stop when you reach either.
