Maxim88 is a Malaysia-facing online casino and sportsbook that takes every major local payment method and offers 24/7 support. It scores 55 out of 100 on our formula, which puts it in our Weak band.
The reason is trust. Maxim88 names no regulator, no licence number and no company. Its homepage FAQ instead says it is “licensed by international gambling authorities including BMM and iTech Labs”, which are game-testing labs, not regulators.
Which is the official Maxim88 site?
On 2 Nov 2026, the top Google result for “maxim88” was maxim88mlsia.com. Maxim88 publishes no notice naming its official domain.
Its own Join Now button pointed to a different address, maxim88msia.com, which is one letter different. Google results also included look-alike Maxim88 “review” sites on other domains.
Check the address letter by letter before you log in, and never use a link sent in a chat message or ad.
How to register and claim a bonus
The welcome bonuses have a few conditions you should know first:
- Choose Join Now and register an MYR account.
- Deposit at least RM50 for the 100% welcome bonus, or RM100 for the 288% bonus, with no other promotion active.
- Go to Transfer, move the money to the game wallet you’ll play in, and choose the promo code.
- Bet only on eligible games. RNG table games such as blackjack and baccarat don’t count towards turnover.
The bonuses are only for members who haven’t joined any Maxim88 promotion. See how Maxim88’s terms compare on our bonus hub.
Maxim88 bonuses and free credit
Maxim88 lists two deposit welcome bonuses, and you can claim one. Neither says whether its turnover applies to the bonus alone or to your deposit plus the bonus, so we show both results.
| Welcome bonus | Min. deposit | Bonus | Turnover | Bets needed per RM100 deposit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slots (100% welcome) | RM50 | 100% up to RM300 | 12x (basis not stated) | RM1,200 to RM2,400 |
| Sports and e-sports (100% welcome) | RM50 | 100% up to RM500 | 18x (basis not stated) | RM1,800 to RM3,600 |
| Live casino (100% welcome) | RM50 | 50% up to RM200 | 25x (basis not stated) | RM1,250 to RM3,750 |
| Slots and fishing (288%) | RM100 | 288% up to RM288 | 28x (basis not stated) | RM8,064 to RM10,864 |
For example, RM100 on the 100% slots bonus adds RM100. If the 12x applies to the bonus only, you need RM100 x 12 = RM1,200 in bets; if it applies to deposit + bonus, (RM100 + RM100) x 12 = RM2,400. The same RM100 on the 288% bonus gets RM288 and needs RM8,064 or RM10,864. Neither offer gives a worked example.
All the bonuses are valid for 30 days, and no maximum cashout is stated. The 288% bonus excludes PlayAce, Mega888 and 918Kiss, and the live casino bonus excludes Allbet, PlayAce, AE Sexy, Dream Gaming and Big Gaming tables. Mega888 and 918Kiss players get a separate version of the 100% bonus: up to RM200 with an 8x “winover”. Casino games have a built-in house edge, so over time you should expect to lose more than you win.
We didn’t find a no-deposit free credit. Maxim88 advertises up to 188 free spins for new members, a reload bonus of up to 50%, weekly cash back and a 1.0% instant rebate with no turnover.
Deposits and withdrawals
Maxim88 lists more payment methods than most casinos we’ve compared, but publishes no limits or fees.
| Deposits | Withdrawals | |
|---|---|---|
| Methods | Touch ’n Go, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, online banking, Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum | Not stated |
| Minimum | Not stated (welcome bonus needs RM100) | Not stated |
| Stated speed | Instant | “Processed in minutes, not days” |
| Fees | Not stated | Not stated |
The footer also shows Help2Pay and EeziePay, which handle online banking transfers. Compare with other casinos on our payments page.
Games
Maxim88 lists 3 sportsbooks, 12 live casino providers and 26 slot providers on its lobby pages.
- Sports: BTi, IBC and CMD368.
- Live casino: Evolution, which Maxim88 calls an exclusive partner, plus Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Sexy Baccarat, WM Casino, Dream Gaming, SA Gaming and Allbet, among others.
- Slots: providers include Pragmatic Play, Nextspin, Spadegaming, JILI, Playtech, Habanero, Relax Gaming and Microgaming. The list also includes Mega888 and 918Kiss.
- Other: 4D, lottery, esports, fishing games and poker.
Maxim88 app
Maxim88 offers an Android app and an iPhone “Lite App”, both downloaded from its own site, plus play in a mobile browser.
Maxim88’s own iPhone guide says its download link redirects to an App Store app called “HappiKuotasi” instead of a Maxim88 app. You open HappiKuotasi, and it launches Maxim88. We found the same pattern at 96M, whose app installs as “Where2Makan”.
Apps listed under another name can be removed at any time, and the disguise makes fakes harder to spot. Never install a Maxim88 app from a chat group or “latest version” site. Read our guide to spotting fake casino APKs.
Customer support
Maxim88’s contact page says support is available “24 hours a day, 7 day a week”, with live chat and Telegram. Its homepage also mentions WhatsApp and WeChat.
The site offered only English when we checked. Its homepage shows player testimonials, such as “Been winning since I started playing here”, which we can’t verify.
Is Maxim88 legit?
Maxim88’s homepage FAQ asks “Is Maxim88 a Legal & Trusted Online Casino in Malaysia?” and answers that it is “certified and licensed by international gambling authorities including BMM and iTech Labs”.
BMM Testlabs and iTech Labs test games and random number generators. They don’t license casinos. Maxim88 names no regulator, no licence number and no operating company anywhere we could find, and its terms and conditions page wouldn’t open for us.
Online casinos like Maxim88 are not licensed in Malaysia, and the government said in February 2026 that it is drafting a new law against illegal online gambling. Read more in our guide: is online gambling legal in Malaysia?
Our verdict
Maxim88 is convenient: every local payment method, 24/7 support and a large game line-up. But you can’t tell who runs it, and its “licensed” claim points to testing labs, not a regulator.
If a verifiable licence matters to you, compare it with me88 and GOD55 in our full ranking.
